Petpet Battles play just like a normal game of Neopets Battledome Trading Card Game but with a few additional rules.

You will construct a 20-card deck made of a combination of Codestones, Equipment, Food, Legends, and Potions.
You may have no more than 1 copy of any Equipment, Food, Legend, or Potion and may contain any number of Codestones.
No cards can exceed a Level Requirement of 3.
