On November 25, 2024, Neopets announced a promotion with It's Boba Time as part of a broader press release featuring several plans for the Neopets 25th anniversary.
It's Boba Time (May 2025) in 100 locations across the US will feature Neopets-themed décor and giveaways, making every visit a mini Neopian party with collectible pins and stickers.
The promotion launched with a party at the Los Angeles Highland location of It's Boba Time on May 1, 2025. It was widely available at other locations starting on May 2 through May 29 (or while supplies lasted). Although messaging was not always consistent, the promotion occurred at all It's Boba Time locations.
Two drinks were available for the promotion: the Cloud Smoothie and Banana Strawberry Swirl. They were described in an April 15 press release as:
Banana Strawberry Swirl: A bold and playful mix of ripe banana, vanilla ice cream and sweet strawberry bits, inspired by Neopia's many vibrant fruits. It specifically nods to the Juppie Swirl, a beloved Neopian fruit and a colour associated with Chias.
Cloud Smoothie: A dreamy blend of lychee, butterfly pea tea, creamy milk foam and juicy strawberry bits, which draws inspiration from Neopets' Cloud Slushie, designed to complement the dreamy, cloud-like theme.

Each drink came sealed with one of four special Neopets seals.
The drinks also had a Neopets cardboard sleeve.
Alongside the Neopets-themed smoothies, some merch was available with each purchase.
A free sticker was given out with each Neopets smoothie purchased. In other words, if you bought three Neopets smoothies, you received three stickers!
These stickers were sealed in an opaque holographic sleeve, so it was not possible to see which one you would receive.

A very small number of stickers included a Rare Item Code on the back. Redeeming this code at Grundo Warehouse would award the following item:
Any transactions that included at least one Neopets smoothie and totaled over $25 would also receive one random pin.
Every pin included a scratch-off Rare Item Code on the packaging. Redeeming this code at Grundo Warehouse would award one of the following items:
Banners, window decals, and sidewalk signs were visible outside most participating stores. Poster stands were on display inside the store.
Poster stands were set up inside the stores. Digital menus featured the Neopets drinks, as did the cashier screens.
A launch party for the promotion was hosted at the Los Angeles Highland location on May 1, 2025. Jellyneo staffers Ummy and Perry were in attendance; all photos below are courtesy of them!
In addition to the exclusive merch for the promotion from the store, a booth was set up by Neopets to sell other merch.
The 25th Anniversary Boxes contained Premium bundles from the Neopets shop, which included a NeoHood, key clip plushie, and two Chibi enamel pins.

A frame was also set up for photo ops!
Beeg Aisha was on site to spread joy.
The event had the store full of Neopets fans!
The event was organized by a mix of TNT, Community Ambassadors, and Birthday Bash hosts.

Invitations to the launch party were limited to select special groups. RSVPs were managed through a Google Form set up by TNT. 40 spots were reserved for "VVIPs" which were based on an unknown criteria. There may have been other groups invited; if you know of one we don't have listed, please let us know what your invitation said!
On April 17, 2025, invitations were sent out to purchasers of a 25th Anniversary Edition Jumbo Plush. Up to 20 spots were reserved for this group.
