The details for the upcoming Neo York pop-up shop in NYC have finally been revealed on the portal blog.
The shop will open to the public beginning on Friday, August 21st at 10am. It will run daily from 10am-7pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will also be an exclusive, invite-only preview night occurring on Thursday, August 20th.
TNT will also be hosting a community meetup / after party at a Brooklyn-based bar called Purgatory on Saturday, August 22nd from 10pm-2am. The bar is a 21+ venue—we do not have information on this time if attendees under 21 will be allowed in for the party specifically. The event will be free, but may require RSVPs which have yet to open up.
The pop-up shop will include licensed merchandise from many Neopets partners such as It's My Obsession!, Steady Hands, CptnAlex Designs and more! Select retailers will be debuting new merchandise, and some will be offering Neo York exclusive merchandise as well.
A new avatar will also be available. Although we do not have confirmation, it is highly likely that this will be available from a lendable item similar to the recent San Diego Comic-Con Beach Please! avatar and the Monopoly avatars.
And finally, you'll have the opportunity to view the winners of the recent #NEOPETS contest as their work will be on display at the pop-up all weekend long.
