Neopets: Player Night Party at ACMI

Neopets has announced a special event at the currently ongoing Game Worlds exhibit at the ACMI in Melbourne, Australia, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of PS2 game Neopets: The Darkest Faerie. The event will take place on Friday, November 21, from 7-10pm. The event is ticketed, and admission can be purchased on the ACMI website. It is described by TNT as:

Neopets is presenting an officially hosted night of fun, with goodie bags for all attendees, exclusive (NEW) merch gifts, activities and prizes during the event, after-dark access to ACMI's 'Game Worlds' exhibit, custom themed drinks, new and exclusive in-game items, cosplay competition and playable access to the PS2 legend itself, Neopets: The Darkest Faerie, for the duration of the night.

You DON'T want to miss out on this! But if you aren't able to visit, that's okay! We will be giving out exclusives on our social media as well. Keep your eyes peeled!

Additionally, TNT has announced that two new avatars will be released as part of the event. One will be through a universal code redeemable at Grundo Warehouse, similar to codes from live AMAs. Details on the other avatar will be revealed "closer to the event."

The event will also feature two exclusive prints designed by Anthony Conley a.k.a. Tiger Catcher gifted to attendees. TNT provided Jellyneo with a sneak peek at one of them!

Oh yes, I remember playing this game! I still have a PS2 to this day, but the game got boring after repeated play so I sold it. The Darkest Knight - my fave NPC - is from this game.

I can't afford to go anywhere now, much less Australia (plus if I'm being honest, the weather here in Texas FINALLY got cool for the fall and I ain't missing that!). Wish the giveaways weren't restricted to socials for the millionth time, but at least there's an avatar for those who couldn't attend. Hopefully my man FINALLY gets an avatar view!
