Here's a rundown of what's new here from the past month.
Faerie Festival
The festival's NC component, Free the Faeries also completed in October, though you can still purchase slingshots through November 10th, and still redeem purchased slingshots until next year's Festival.
The Void Within Coverage
The Void Within has continued to develop over the last month, and we've covered it breathlessly!
October saw Voidworks return as a daily activity, and with an exclusive avatar.
We also saw the release of two new plot activities, Cosy Campfire Collection and Tea Time With Tavi, and we have guides on the mechanics of each:

However, this may be the last time in a while that The Void Within will be in our update posts! In case you missed it, TNT announced last week that the plot would go on pause until sometime in the first quarter of 2025.
Los Angeles Comic Con Recap
Although Neopets did not have a booth at LACC this year, they were the topic a panel hosted by their merch partner Andrews McMeel. Check out our recap of the panel, which revealed exclusive info about the upcoming graphic novels and official colouring book, the next expansion of the Battledome TCG from Upper Deck, and more!
This month, you can look forward to our recaps of RetroGameCon and gamescom asia, which both also took place in October.
Additionally, Neopets has officially been announced as an exhibitor at Anime Festival Asia (AFA) in Singapore this coming November 29th to December 1st! While Jellyneo will not be in attendance, we will plan to provide a recap afterward based on official social media.
New Special Categories
Since launching our big special categories update in August, we've been busy adding even more categories. Here's what we've added last month:
- April Fools' Day - Prizes from, and items only available on April Fools' Day.
- Avatars - Items that can get you an avatar.
- Inside Other Items - Items that can be found inside other items.
- Kiko Pop - Prizes from Kiko Pop.
- Neopets Books Trivia - Prizes from the Neopets Books Trivia.
- Offline Encounters - Items available through various offline encounters, like conventions and TCG tournaments.
- Openable - Items that give other items when interacted with.
- Paintable Petpets - Petpets that can be painted at the Petpet Puddle.
- Second-Hand Shoppe - Items available from the Second-Hand Shoppe donated by NPCs.
- Trick-or-Treating - Prizes from the trick-or-treating events.
- Upcycling - Rewards from upcycling Neocash items through an NC Upcycle Fortune Cookie.
Quest Log Special Searches
Our Item Database now offers a couple useful new special searches related to Quest Log:

Neopets: The Omelette Faerie Review
The first official Neopets graphic novel, Neopets: The Omelette Faerie released on October 22. Jellyneo was lucky to be provided an advance digital copy for review, which we now have live over on our Merch DB! Check it out for our takes on the novel's art, plot, and role in Neopian lore:
Jellyneo Costume Contest
The winners of this year's Costume Contest are now live! Make sure to check out all of the winners below, along with the prizes awarded to all those who entered and voted. We also had a rare tie for third place!
