Upper Deck, who are making the upcoming Trading Card Game for Neopets, have today released a landing page with details of what the first release of the TCG will include.


As part of this, they have announced that the two themed starter boxes will each include a code for an exclusive avatar, and the avatar will be different based on which themed box you buy. (We confirmed this with Upper Deck: in other words, two new avatars for the two boxes.) There is no release date or ordering information available currently.

However, the landing page also includes a link to sign up for a newsletter to receive news of the TCG as it releases. Signing up for this newsletter enters you into a sweepstakes competition, the prize for which is an avatar! Although not stated, it is assumed this will be the UD TCG - Arcade Shoyru avatar previously available as a rare item code from Upper Deck convention exclusive promotional cards.

Note: This sweepstakes is only available to residents of Canada and most of the USA (see the terms for details). You may still sign up for the newsletter if you don't qualify, but cannot win the avatar. The sweepstakes is only open until March 14th.

TNT have announced the date for the next AMA with Dom, the Neopets CEO. This will be held at 5pm NST on the 15th of February. It's expected to be watchable live on Facebook, Youtube, or Twitter. (We recommend YouTube, as it's easiest.)


This AMA has been dubbed the "Faerie Friends Edition," and Kevin from KevinoGaming returns as host.

This time around, TNT is giving away 5x of the Official Tarot Deck, Faerie Edition to live viewers.


As with the last AMA, there will be a Rare Item Code made available during the livestream for an "EXCLUSIVE unreleased prize," which we'll post about here on JN once the code is released.

In addition, a Straw Poll has been set up by TNT to solicit questions for Dom. Currently there's only one pre-selected question, so use the "Other" option to submit yours! (Click "View Results" first to see what's already been asked, and if you want to vote for one of those questions, copy/paste it into the "Other" box.)

Today, TNT have announced a giveaway on social media to celebrate the upcoming Valentines Day. This is similar to the giveaway that was held during the Christmas period, but this time the prizes are a mixture of on site rewards and real life merchandise.


Every few days, a new activity on one of the Neopets social media pages will be released. 10 entrants to each activity will be selected as winners. This is open worldwide, and all contests close on February 20th.

• February 5th: A Gleam giveaway (link to be published on the date), including sharing a fun story about you and a Neofriend. Prize: Valentine’s Day Tarot Card Deck - this is assumed to be the upcoming Faerie Tarot set rather than the original Geekify set.
• February 7th: A Facebook giveaway involving customising your Neopet with a matching Petpet. Prize: Valentine Paint Brush and Valentine Petpet Paint Brush.
• February 9th: A giveaway on the Neopets Neoboards (on site!) involving being grateful to your Neofriends. Prize: Mystical Rosette Dress.
• February 12th: A Tiktok giveaway involving reposting and tagging. Prize: 5,000 Neocash.
• February 14th: An Instagram giveaway involving following and using stickers. Prize: A WYP Valentines Lanyard and a selection of WYP Valentines pins.

What's Your Passion Jewelry will be dropping three Neopets collections on their website on 31st January at 9:01 PM NST (1st February at 12:01 AM EST). The below products will begin shipping on 5th February.

The latest wave in the Limited Edition convention exclusive series features the Acara, Peophin, Nimmo, and Krawk. These will only be available through 11 February. These will come with an exclusive code item (see note below).

To celebrate the upcoming 25th anniversary, we have our first three anniversary species — Grundo, Lupe, and Usul.
These Limited Edition pins are 3D UV-printed instead of the typical hard enamel. This keeps the colours as vibrant and as fancy as the anniversary designs themselves. There will also be new code prizes for these anniversary pins.
