The Omelette Faerie, the upcoming Neopets graphic novel (from the same publisher that brought you the official cookbook), is now available for preorder with the official US and Canada release on October 22nd, a UK release on November 21st, and with an international release to follow.

The book is a graphic novel, and in our opinion looks similar to what you'd expect from classic Neopets plot comics. The book is by Rebecca Mix, with art by Heather Burns and Luiz Fernando da Silva.

This morning Upper Deck has sent out a press release announcing the wide release of the Neopets Battledome TCG after it's pre-release in Canada earlier this month. The game will be available at local game stores and online at Upper Deck and authorized internet retailers on June 26th!

Booster packs will retail for $3.99 a pack and Starter Decks $19.99. (USD)

Upper Deck has plans to release additional expansions later this year and will also be launching a website to find local stores where you can purchase the game, register for organized play events, and a deck building tool!

The Neopets Battledome TCG set has been hitting select retailers in Canada over the past few weeks, and we have some photos to share of the new card game! There is still currently no set date for a release in the USA, but the game should be showing up this summer.

Avatars are also included when you purchase one of the two different starter decks. (Starry Acara or Fire Uni!) The starter decks are supposed to have a code included to redeem for the avatar, but unfortunately they didn't make it into the boxes... so in order to get your avatars, you'll need to send an email to [email protected] with which deck it was and proof of purchase, and they will ship you the missing code. (Yes, by snail mail.)

Today, it was announced that Neopets has signed a master toy licensing agreement with toy maker PhatMojo, based in Los Angeles.

The agreement will allow PhatMojo to produce figures, plushies, and collectibles based on Neopets. The first set of merchandise will be revealed next week at Licensing Expo, a conference in Las Vegas next week.

PhatMojo also already produces a number of toys for other brands that get sold in major retailers across the United States, so it's possible that we'll see Neopets merch back on shelves of physical retailers near you.
