Graphic Novel Item Code Live

Today is the official release of the first Neopets graphic novel, Neopets: The Omelette Faerie. As a result, the rare item code inside the novel is also now available, which awards the following weapon:

Each graphic novel contains the same code, and the code can be claimed by anyone at Grundo Warehouse by entering the following code:

CRESTA

Note that this code is not a Space Faerie eligible code, so it will not award her as a Battledome challenger.

Los Angeles Comic Con 2024 Recap

Although Neopets did not have a booth at LACC this year, they were the topic a panel hosted by their merch partner Andrews McMeel.

The artwork for this announcement image is original art by Rachel Cash, co-illustrator of the upcoming official colouring book!

The panel was entitled "Neopets 25th Anniversary Celebration! Live AMA and Graphic Novel Teaser" and featured TNT Aesop from Neopets, Bobby Coovert (Neopets TCG Product Manager at Upper Deck), Erinn Pascal (Senior Editor at Andrews McMeel Publishing and co-author of Neopets: The Official Cookbook), and Rachel Cash (co-illustrator of Neopets: The Official Colouring Book, out in March 2025). The panel was moderated by voice actor Jenny Yokobori (Genshin Impact/The Simpsons/Pokemon/Rainbow High/many more).

Check out our recap of the panel, which revealed exclusive info about upcoming graphic novels Neopets: The Omelette Faerie (officially releasing this Tuesday!) and Neopets: The Discarded Magical Blue Grundo Plushie of Prosperity (releasing in August 2025), upcoming official colouring book, the next expansion of the Battledome TCG from Upper Deck, and more!

Neopets has been attending a lot of conventions this fall! You can catch our recap of their display at Brand Licensing Europe last month, and look forward to our recaps of the Neopets presence at RetroGameCon from this last weekend and gamescom asia taking place right now!

What's Your Passion New York Comic Con Exclusives

New York Comic Con is this weekend, which means another wave of fabulous new merch from What's Your Passion. While Neopets will not be present at NYCC this year, attendees can find Neopets exclusives from What's Your Passion at booth #3053 from Thursday, October 17 to Sunday, October 20. Convention exclusives will also be sold online until Monday, October 21 at 8:59pm NST (11:59pm EST).

Some wraith-themed items have arrived just in time for spooky season. First, there is a new convention exclusive Wraith Lanyard and Wraith Paint Brush pin. The paint brush cannot be purchased on its own. If you spend $45 or more on Neopets merchandise, it will be included FREE with your purchase, while supplies last. If you can't get enough Wraith, a non-exclusive Wraith Usul pin can now be yours, too.

Redeeming the code from the Wraith lanyard grants the following new background:

Another round of gold and silver convention exclusives are now available. This release features the 25th anniversary logo, Meerca, Kau, Jetsam, and Grundo.

Redeeming codes from the above pins will award the following new wearables:

Cybunny and Xweetok join the UV Anniversary pin collection. These codes award items from the anniversary prize pool. These are not convention exclusive.

A pin featuring the Omelete Faerie from the new Neopets: The Omelette Faerie graphic novel has been released, as well as 3 new baby pins for some very underrated species: Vandagyre, Skeith, and Ogrin. None of these are convention exclusive.

Share some holiday cheer with the Grey Faerie this season with this new Faerie Snowglobe ornament (she could really use some love right now):

Finally, there are 5 varieties of anniversary-themed 30 oz tumblers available: anniversary pets, Aisha, Cybunny, Kougra, and Xweetok. Each design is available in black or white. Unfortunately, these are not offered for international shipping at this time.

Redeeming a code from the above tumblers will grant you the following new handheld:

If you aren't familiar with how What's Your Passion virtual prize codes work or would like to view the prize pools, check out our guide:

Neopets: The Omelette Faerie Advance Review + Info from LACC

Jellyneo was lucky to be provided an advance digital copy for review, which we now have live over on our Merch DB! Check it out for our takes on the novel's art, plot, and role in Neopian lore:

Although the full release is on October 22, Andrews McMeel has confirmed that 240 copies of The Omelette Faerie will be available for early purchase at RetroGameCon this coming weekend! (These copies will be identical to those released on the 22nd.)

Some interesting information was also revealed by Andrews McMeel at the panel they hosted at Los Angeles Comic Con last weekend. We're still working on a full recap, but couldn't wait to share some details here first!

Although The Omelette Faerie is releasing this month, Andrews McMeel already has plans for two more books!

First, an official colouring book is set for release this coming March 18, 2025! A colouring page was distributed to panel attendees, and you can find a digital copy right here:

In addition, a second graphic novel is in the works, slated to release in August 2025! Andrews McMeel was able to share a couple of preview pages:
