If you purchased the SDCC23 Xweetok Pin at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, then the Rare Item Code attached may give you the Cybunny pin prize instead! The RICs should be awarding the Xweetok Hoodie and Skirt Outfit (seen above).

WYP has posted a statement, with instructions on how to get the right item (emphasis added):

We discovered an issue with some of the codes for the SDCC exclusive Xweetok pins giving people the wrong wearable when redeemed. If this happens to you, Neopets is asking that you send in a support ticket and they will send you the correct item, but you will still be allowed to keep the wearable you received initially as an apology for the mix up!

From what we can tell, the Cybunny codes were somehow duplicated on the Xweetoks. We have the correct codes now and will be preemptively emailing them to everyone who purchased the Xweetok exclusive pin at the show and received an email receipt, to reduce the number of tickets for TNT and get everyone the correct codes as quickly as possible.

We are not certain yet if any of the Cybunnies that were purchased at the show were labeled with duplicate codes, so for now if you attempt to redeem a Cybunny code and are unable to, please open a support ticket with Neopets to get a replacement code sent to you. We will be continuing to troubleshoot once we are all home from San Diego and better able to determine the scope of affected purchases.

More information about the new trading card game from Upper Deck has been revealed at Comic-Con, and we've learned that the set will be Battledome-themed!

Here's a peek at the promotional set on sale for $30 USD at the Upper Deck booth (#307) on the convention floor:


Each set of promo cards comes with a Grundo Warehouse card that has a Rare Item Code attached under a scratch off. Redeeming the code on Neopets will award this new avatar:


From what we've been told, there are no known concrete plans for releasing this avatar more widely, but we wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up again with the TCG release next year.

Once again, Neopets will be attending this month's San Diego Comic Con. This year's theme is vaporwave. You can read more about Neopets' big plans in this press release. On the What's Your Passion side of the booth, a new wave of 4 Gold and Silver species pins will be available, each with a code for a unique new item. These pins (along with the Neopets Era pins) will be available online for those who cannot attend SDCC. A rainbow enamel paint brush pin will be included FREE with purchase of $45 or more on Neopets products, while supplies last - only 300 made! This offer is for both at the convention and online. Additionally, WYP will be introducing 2 new rainbow pride pins - Kau and Chia - and their latest Faerie pin, featuring Aethia the Battle Faerie. These are not inclusive to the convention and will also be available online.


If you love UC pets, you can pick up the brand new What's Your Passion UC Blind Box enamel pins at UCC Distributing's booth #5613. These are making their debut at SDCC, and will be available in retailers later this year. There are 12 Neopets in the set and 1 rare mystery variant. Finally, the Neopets Era After Party will be held on Friday, July 21st from 7:30 9:00 - 11:30 PM at Deck 655 (655 W Broadway, San Diego, 92101). Admission is for 18 and older only and requires a ticket prior to entry. Tickets can be picked up at the Neopets booth, with a giveaway being hosted for a chance at VIP tickets.

UPDATE July 17th: TNT has clarified on social media how to get a ticket:

Additional Clarification on General Admission:
There is no physical ticket. You can scan a QR code at our booth #1129 which puts you in a waitlist to receive GA access. When space opens up, you will be sent a digital invite via email, which you then show up at the door.

If you don't get a spot, don't fret! You can also stand in line for first come first serve access after the first wave of GA entrance.

They have also revealed that the party starts at 9 PM for general admission and 7:30 PM for VIPs. TNT is running a giveaway for VIP access here. Please only enter if you will be in San Diego during the party.

UPDATE July 21st: TNT has clarified further on getting in to tonight's party.

We want to remind people that to avoid hurt feelings, General Admission is first come first served with valid pre-registration. General Admission begins at 9 PM. Entry is NOT guaranteed. We have to obey safety regulations for the party and can only allow up to the mandated capacity.

Neopets is hosting a giveaway across social media for the newly released Official Cookbook.

Similar to past social media giveaways, this one is being hosted on Gleam and requires completion of various tasks that each generate a giveaway entry for you. You don't need to participate in all of the tasks, but it's obviously beneficial if you do.

3x winners will each receive a signed copy of the Cookbook, along with a Neopets-branded oven mitt and apron.

This giveaway also has a secret code, BOROVAN, which can be used in the "Enter the TikTok secret code" task. Most other tasks are social-media related, but there are a few that don't require social media.
