New Me, New Merch!

It's been awhile since we did a merch recap, but there's a lot to unpack!

We have new merch from multiple retailers over the past few weeks including CptnAlex Designs, What's Your Passion Jewelry, It's My Obsession!, and some new arrivals to the Neopets Shop itself.

Starting off with CptnAlex Designs:

CptnAlex has launched a new line of ita bags, which he has branded as "FLYT" bags. Each bag contains swappable inserts (so you can switch out the panels that display your pins) and is large enough to hold a Nintendo Switch 2 plus accessories and personal items. All bags are currently pre-orders, with an expected delivery date of December 2026.

These bags will be $10 off through Labor Day (September 7th). All pre-orders placed through that date will also receive a very special very awesome (in my completely unbiased opinion) Noil Monitor Pin. The pin can also be picked up in-person at CptnAlex's booth at PAX West in Seattle with any purchase of $25+.

If you missed out on the recent Neo York pop-up, you can also pick up 2 of CptnAlex's Neo York merch items, playing cards (while supplies last) and a wrist strap keychain.

And finally, CptnAlex has added some new bread pet (or "bakery besties" to be technical) items including keychains, playing cards and tech tethers, as well as a variety of keycaps and light-up fidget keychains.

Up next is long-term partner What's Your Passion Jewelry (WYP) with a new line of pins representing some of Neopia's most classic games. There are 5 new pins in total, featuring Ice Cream Machine, Hasee Bounce, Kass Basher, Meerca Chase, and Turmac Roll.

It's My Obsession! (IMO) has also been upping their pin game recently with 2 brand new blind box sets featuring bread and wraith pets. Pins can be bought as individual blind boxes, or you can purchase an entire set, which guarantees you will receive one of each pin.

IMO has also come out with a new ita bag design featuring baby pets and fruit. These bags also come with an exclusive baby Shoyru pin. The mini bag is large enough for a Nintendo Switch, plus accessories, while the backpack can hold a laptop, Nintendo Switch, and more. They also debuted a new product at the Neo York pop-up, a Japanese-style bag called a "tsuno" bag which features loose straps that you tie to the length you desire. These were not exclusive to the pop-up and will remain online for purchase.

Lastly, IMO has listed the remaining stock of several Neo York pop-up exclusive items on their website—once they're gone, they're gone for good!

And last but not least, the Neopets Shop itself has added some new (ish) products.

To start, we have the Stellar Sprites Faerie Blind Box Pins and the Fresh Threads Neopets Blind Box Pins. Both of these first debuted at PAX East back in March, and have so far been exclusive to conventions, only being sold at PAX, SDCC, and Neo York. Now they're available any time at the Neopets Shop. A full set guarantees one of each pin, and comes at a price discount.

The recent Neopets Funko Pops have been added to the online store—your pick of Aisha, Cybunny, Shoyru, or everyone's fan favourite merch that nobody is tired of at all...Yellow Kacheek!

do not come for me, this is how they uploaded the Shoyru's image ok

What's New at Jellyneo: August 2026

We're continuing our monthly tradition: an update on all things new and refreshed last month at Jellyneo!

Here's a rundown of what's new here from the past month.

Operation Kreludor Retrospective
We've created a retrospective on the bygone Nick Arcade video game Operation Kreludor with assets, screenshots, and gameplay mechanics.

We've also included some video and audio clips. For example, here's the opening gameplay! You can check them all out on our guide or on our YouTube channel.

#NEOPETS Social Media Contest Guide
We now have a guide on the newest Neopets creative contest, which has the astoundingly vague name #NEOPETS. Check it out for all the details on how it works. A social media account isn't actually required!

Bigsby's WonderCog Hunt
Last month we all took a bewildering ride through Neopia to collect the parts to fix Bigsby Shadington's Wonderclaw Machine! Check out our recap for the WonderCog locations, daily & final prizes, and some lore excerpts:

The conclusion of the event also saw the return of the Wonderclaw Neocash game, so we've updated our guide accordingly.

Soup Kitchen Update
Last month, TNT overhauled the Soup Kitchen by moving it to the mobile-responsive layout and adding a donation feature that eventually started producing items and avatars. We've updated our guide to keep up!

Neopet Emotions Needed
Did you know that TNT makes different mouth and eye art assets for every combination of species, colour, gender, and emotion? We catalog these assets to properly display our previews at the Wardrobe, but we're missing a bunch! We've added a page to our modeling hub to list out all the assets we need and what you can do to help:

Mobile App Events
Tales of Dacardia once again held a Donation Drive. We have a guide up covering the mechanics and prizes:

Captain QuickFinger also rotated the stock in his Travelling Treasure Trove, and we added a value guide for that too. Today happens to be the last day of his current stock!

We've also updated our Faerie Fragments Neopets.com Rewards and Achievements guide with the slew of new prizes added in the last update:

And of course, an event guide for the current Faerie Fragments seasonal event "Gone Fishin'", whose gameplay remains available through September 22.

New Goal Counters
Our ace graphics department has added several new Goal Counters.

Recurrent Guide Updates
Some site features are perennially updated by TNT, and so our articles about them are too!

Finally, we are always adding new entries to our databases. You can keep up with them at any time!

If you discovered something delightful or useful above, make our day month by letting us know in the comments. Happy September!

Neo York RSVP Rewards + Survey

If you had RSVP'ed to the Neo York event, check your inboxes! You should find an email recapping the event, along with a unique Rare Item Code that you may redeem at Grundo Warehouse for a Jeran Action Figure.

The email also includes a link to a survey to share your thoughts, both if you attended—or did not attend—and asks for suggestions on future pop-up locations. If you enter your Neopets username on the first page, another (currently unknown) freebie will be sent to your Neopets account:

Mega Mini Games Collection Update

The Mega Mini Games Collection console and Steam game that was released back in March had an update yesterday. While the developers don't appear to have published patch notes for it, a new game has been added to the collection - an adaptation of Shenkuu Warrior Princess II.

This plays mostly the same as the game did in its classic flash version. It is unlocked without having to replay Story Mode, and you can find it at the bottom of the games list, where it is called 'Shenku Warrior'.

This game counts as its own version, meaning it adds a new game to your High Score List, unique to each console type. However, the associated leaderboard on Neopets, where all high scores for the game versions can be found has not been updated so the scores for this game are not currently public.

(Note that the leaderboards do not grant daily Neopoints as advertised. This has been broken since launch and seemingly yet to be fixed)

Alongside the new game, Story Mode has been updated with new art and dialogue. Those who purchased the game at launch may remember that the narrative was certainly something. While the game and Story Mode still contain errors (see 'Shenku' above), Story Mode as a whole now makes more sense.

New MLBPA Avatar + Kacheek Merch News

Today, Neopets has sent out an email to customers who pre-ordered the MLBPA Kacheek Figure. In short, the figure has been cancelled, and refunds will be issued to everyone who pre-ordered. The full text of the email is:

Hi Neopians,

We have some tough news to share today. We are cancelling the Neopets x MLB Players, Inc. Mega Kacheek Figure. Every single pre-order is being refunded in full, and you don’t need to do anything on your end to trigger it. The refund process has already started, you’ll get an email confirmation shortly, and the money should be back on your original payment method within 10 business days.

We want to be completely open with you about what happened.

When we opened pre-orders back in March, we had a prototype sample we were really happy with. However, what we couldn't manage to do was get from that initial sample to a finished product at production scale. Over the next several rounds, we kept pushing for fixes to the paint application, surface finish, structural stability, and durability. Our team was actually in the factory checking physical samples in person, round after round. Some things got better, but other things came back completely unchanged, or even came back with brand-new problems.

Eventually, we had to face the reality that our manufacturing partner just wasn't going to get there consistently, so we ended that arrangement. To be entirely clear, this was a manufacturing issue on our side of the project. MLB Players, Inc. has been an incredible partner the entire time.

We did consider holding onto your pre-orders while we go find a new factory. But sourcing a new partner, redoing all the engineering, and running a whole new series of samples is a long road with no guaranteed finish line. Keeping your money tied up through all of that just didn't feel right to us.

We were so excited about this one. A giant Kacheek felt like exactly the kind of thing this community would love to have on a shelf, and we really wanted to be the team that got it right. The good news is we’ve already started talking to potential new manufacturing partners. What we won't do, though, is announce another date. When there is a version of this figure we are genuinely proud of, sitting finished in front of us, that’s when you’ll hear about it.

We’re also changing how we do things going forward. We aren't going to open pre-orders on a collectible like this until we have signed off on a final production sample instead of a prototype. On top of that, for any future long-lead items, you’ll hear from us on a regular cadence, even when the update is just "still in sampling."

Everyone who ordered from this collection will receive the coupon code “MLBP” for $20 of credit toward your next purchase. This will be sent to the email address on your order, and it'll be valid store-wide; it stacks with sales and expires on Dec 31, 2028. You will still receive the “Kacheek Homerun” avatar (MLB Players, Inc. Kacheek Avatar) which is awarded by playing with the “Hydrate with a Slushie Badge” item via your unique prize code.

How to redeem:

Log into your neopets account and visit Grundo Warehouse at neopets.com/code. Enter the code and find the item in your inventory! This code is unique to you and can be redeemed once. Please don’t share it. If you have any trouble redeeming it, please reach out to us at the Support Centre with your order number and Neopets username.

We know an avatar, a badge, and a store credit don’t replace the collectible you actually wanted. They’re just a small token of appreciation for your support.

We also want to be straight with you about why this took so long. We weren’t sitting on a decision we’d already made. Every single round, we honestly believed the next sample would be the one, and we kept believing it for a tad longer than we should have. The optimism was sincere, but it was also our responsibility to recognize sooner that it wasn't going to work, and to come to you earlier. We didn't, and that's on us.

If your refund hasn't arrived after 10 business days, or the amount doesn't look right, contact us at the Support Centre, and we'll sort it out. Your refund fully covers original shipping costs.

The question we kept coming back to was a simple one: would we be proud to send this to our community? The answer was no, so we stopped. We'd rather make a hard decision now than send you a disappointing product later.

Thank you for supporting us, and for holding us to the standard you deserve.

TNT Dom

As a result of the mentioned rare item code, the avatar that was due to be released with the figure is now available:

You can obtain this by playing with the Hydrate With a Slushie Badge, as the email mentions. That means that the avatar is lendable.

One of the other items that was slated to be included with the figure, the Baseball Kacheek Stamp, was briefly spotted stocking in shops last week via the Companion App, but is currently not fully activated and does not show in inventories once purchased. It is still unknown if this will be fully released as a regular stamp, or released via other means. Also unknown is the fate of the other items initially advertised as being rewards from the figure.

Last Call for Kanrik & Hannah Plushie Pre-Orders!

Pre-orders for the Makeship Kanrik and Hannah plushies will be closing in 24 hours. The pre-order window will end on Thursday, August 20th at 8:00 PM NST.

Makeship plushies are pre-order only, meaning once the order window closes they will not be available for purchase ever again.

Each plushie includes a Rare Item Code for a wearable foreground version of the plushies themselves. Codes will be emailed to purchasers later this month.

The estimated shipping date for the plushies is October 30, 2026.

More Neo York Details Revealed!

The portal blog has been updated with some additional details for the upcoming Neo York pop-up shop in NYC.

The shop will open to the public beginning on Friday, August 21st at 10am. It will run daily from 10am-7pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will also be an exclusive, invite-only preview night occurring on Thursday, August 20th.

TNT will also be hosting a community meetup / after party at a Brooklyn-based bar called Purgatory on Saturday, August 22nd from 10pm-2am. Due to its location at a bar, the party will be 21+. It is free but RSVPs are required. You can RSVP here.

Previews of some of the exclusive merchandise have also been revealed. A full merch catalogue (along with prices) is reportedly going to be posted online closer to the event, so you can browse ahead of time and decide what you're interested in.

We have also obtained details about some Rare Item Codes:

  • Attendees who RSVP for the pop-up will receive a Rare Item Code to their email after attending the event (it is not known if attendance is actually required, or if simply signing up will be sufficient)—RSVP here for the pop-up. You do not need to RSVP to attend—it's strictly for the code

  • The first 500 attendees each day will receive "an exclusive in-game avatar code". Today's editorial in the Neopian Times suggests that this code will produce a lendable item, similar to past event-based avatars (like the recent San Diego Comic-Con Beach Please! avatar ), so don't stress if you can't get there early

The majority of new avatars we have released for special events such as PAX East, SDCC, and the Neo York Pop-Up are lendable, so try seeking out a loan on the boards!

  • Neopians who arrive in "cosplay" or "Neopian attire" will also receive the Rare Item Code that generates the (presumably) lendable avatar item

  • And finally, there will be a Rare Item Code available as a gift with purchase

To recap, that's a total of 3 Rare Item Codes—one for RSVPing to the pop-up (unclear if attendance is required), one for being one of the first 500 attendees per day OR arriving in cosplay/Neopian attire, and one for purchasing merch.

Will we see you in Neo York?
