Yesterday, the latest expansion in the Battledome TCG was released. This expansion is called "Champions of Meridell" based partly on the 2002 plot of the same name.


The expansion brings 472 new cards available through booster packs and a starter deck. You can find these at your local game store and several other chain retailers, as well as online through the Neopets Shop and Upper Deck site.


Notably, this release comes with a new King Skarl Hero avatar available from redeeming a code in the starter deck.


Additionally, there is a new set of exclusive Rare Item Code prizes, which you can read more about on our guide. About 1 in 8 booster packs include a code card.

Upper Deck has revealed the new species of petpet that they were teasing previously. Here's what the Scorf looks like! It will be available via a Rare Item Code, found inside the new Champions of Meridell expansion packs for the Neopets Battledome TCG. Tentative release is towards the end of May.

Neopets has partnered with It's Boba Time to offer some Neopets-themed drinks and exclusive goodies to its US locations. The promotion runs from May 2nd to May 29th at over 100 It's Boba Time locations, with nearly all locations in Southern California. You can read more about the promotion here.


There are 2 drinks exclusive to this promotion: Cloud Smoothie and Banana Strawberry Swirl. Supposedly, ordering one of these drinks will grant you a Rare Item Code.


If you spend at least $25 — yes, that's a lot of drinks — you will receive one of six Baby Neopets pins FREE with purchase, while supplies last. Fans can also receive one of six stickers. Based on previous Neopets tea promotions, you may have to show proof that you follow Neopets on social media to receive a sticker.

What's Your Passion Jewelry also dropped their latest wave of pins, including convention exclusives, on their website. All items will ship beginning the 2nd week of May.

The four new limited edition gold and silver pins are Uni, Yurble, Skeith, and Grarrl. These pins are only available until April 30th (today) at 8:59 NST/11:59 EST.


Each pin comes with a code for an exclusive species-themed wearable:


They have also debuted a new series of UV 3D pins: NPCs (Non-Player Characters). Lord Kass, Vira, and Xandra are the first in this lineup, and every pin comes with a code for a brand new prize pool. Keep an eye out on our Rare Item Codes guide for when more information becomes available.


In the spirit of the recent Easter holiday, three pastel pet pins of some underrated species are now available: Bori, Pteri, and a rather chill Kyrii.


Finally, a limited edition lanyard of the classic sidebar has also been released. This comes with a standard Tier 1 code.

Looks like a new species of petpet will be coming next month, with the release of the Champions of Meridell TCG set from Upper Deck. The new set is expected to release by the end of May, though the exact date is still tentative.

The new petpet will be available as a possible Rare Item Code prize with the set.

Earlier this morning, an "Affiliates" link silently appeared in the footer of the Neopets Portal.


The link goes to a new Neopets subdomain: affiliates.neopets.com. This has a blurb at the top of the page describing the program, which appears to involve referring people to the Neopets Shop using an affiliate referral link:

Welcome to the Neopets Affiliate Program—your opportunity to earn commissions while sharing the magic of Neopets with your audience! Whether you're a passionate fan or a savvy marketer, this program lets you partner with Neopets to promote exciting products while earning rewards for every successful referral.

Further down the page is an outline of benefits.


There is also a small FAQ section that describes the different affiliate tiers in more detail. Affiliates who refer more revenue will receive a higher commission, as well as additional benefits. (Notably, these benefits seem to confirm a return to SDCC this year!)


There is a form to apply on the page. Filling out the form will create an affiliate account and display a welcome message, though your account appears to still require review by TNT to be fully activated and functional.

At the time of writing, TNT has not formally announced anything, though maybe they will soon; we'll update this post if they do!
